My life is about American TV, as I've ascertained to numerous times on this blog. A rainy friday evening proposes the best opportunity to sit back and catch up on America's finest. Summer's over, which means Fall is upon on, and with Fall comes brand spanking new seasons of the best shows on Television. I'll spotlight Glee in this one, but other shows starting soon include Cougar Town, Family Guy, Desperate Housewives, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory and so much more! I mean seriously, THEIR TV, shits on the the UK's TV! All we can get excited about this fall is new Inbetweeners (still haven't got around to watching that) and that show This Is England (which I'm also not wasting my time with) Not saying these shows are bad, but come on, look at the Fall line-up on Fox and co. But whatever, not the time or place to moan. I'm probably most excited about Cougar Town (with Courtney Cox) and my toons (South Park, Family Guy, American Dad).
Also Scrubs is out, I haven't seen a single episode since JD left, not because I'm JD's biggest fan, just that I swear it hasn't been shown anywhere?! I'm looking forward to seeing what they've done with the show.
America's sweethearts at Jersey Shore also may get my attention this fall, strange because a lot of people seem to think this is 'my show' and I should be glued to it, but I've never seen a single episode. The ads have sort of put me off, the boys sound and look stupid, and the girls dress like trailer trash and I think I'll catch an STD just watching those skanks. But it must make good TV because Kim K and Serena watch it, so I think 'we've got a situation' (Jersey Shore joke)
